Watch: Flames' Dennis Wideman Checks Linesman

(CBS) During the second period of Wednesday's contest between the Flames and Predators, Calgary defenseman Dennis Wideman checked linesman Don Henderson in what appeared to be an intentional hit.

Wideman had just taken a hit against the boards from Nashville's Miikka Salomaki and appeared to be shaken up. As he was headed toward the Flames' bench, Henderson appeared in the way of the gate. That's when Wideman took a shot at the linesman.

The Predators earned a 2-1 win over the Flames, and Wideman may have earned himself a suspension.
