Watch: Cubs' Kris Bryant Returns To High School Field, Reflects On Fond Memories

(CBS) Long before his MVP campaign of 2016 and postseason heroics, Cubs star third baseman Kris Bryant was learning his craft at Bonanza High School in Las Vegas.

Bryant recalls those roots in a video produced by Sports Illustrated in which he returns to his high school field and talks about some of his fondest memories, including hitting a grand slam for his first varsity homer -- after being quite nervous and committing a few misplays.
