(CBS) It was a moment 108 years in the making.

Third baseman Kris Bryant fielded a chopper and fired a dart across the diamond to first baseman Anthony Rizzo, sealing the Cubs' 8-7 win in 10 innings against the Indians in Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday night. It gave the franchise its first championship since 1908.
