(CBS) A thrilling Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday night wasn't tough just for fans of the Cubs and Indians.

It was nerve-racking for everyone involved too, as Chicago first baseman Anthony Rizzo explained in the early innings to veteran catcher and father figure David Ross.

"I can't control myself right now," Rizzo said. "I'm trying my best.

"I'm an emotional wreck."

The drama only intensified from there. The Cubs went on to an 8-7 win in 10 innings, bringing the franchise its first championship since 1908.
