Watch: Adam Eaton Forgot Where The Wall Was

(CBS) White Sox center field Adam Eaton is renowned for his hustle -- it's part of an identity that led him to the big leagues -- but that and a momentary misjudgment of where the wall was got him in trouble Wednesday afternoon.

Eaton ran head-first into the right-center field wall at full speed while tracking a home run by the Rangers' Adam Rosales in the top of the second inning. While you can't fault the effort, Eaton never really had a chance at the ball, which landed a few rows up and and a good five feet to the right as well.

Eaton left the game with what the White Sox called a bruised lower back. X-rays were negative. The White Sox lost the game.
