Woman found dead after mattress fire on South Side of Chicago
A woman was found dead in a house fire Tuesday afternoon in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago.
There was a large emergency response to the fire shortly after 4:15 p.m. in the 9400 block of South Lowe Avenue.
Sources said one woman was found dead after a mattress fire that was quickly extinguished.
The victim's name has not been released.
