View: Cubs-Mets NLCS Schedule

(CBS) The Cubs advanced to the National League Championship Series for the first time since 2003 with a 6-4 win against the rival Cardinals in Game 4 of the NLDS on Tuesday evening at Wrigley Field.

On Thursday evening, Chicago found out it's headed to New York to open the NLCS against the Mets, who were 3-2 winners against the Dodgers in Game 5 of the NLDS.

Here's the full schedule for the NLCS. The format remains a 2-3-2, so the Cubs will host games in the middle of next week.

All games will be televised on TBS.

Here's a look:

Saturday, Oct. 17: Cubs at Mets, 7:07 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 18: Cubs at Mets, 7:07 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 20: Mets at Cubs, 7:07 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 21: Mets at Cubs, 7:07 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 22: Mets at Cubs, 7:07 p.m.*
Saturday, Oct. 24: Cubs at Mets, 3:07 p.m. or 7:07 p.m.*
Sunday, Oct. 25: Cubs at Mets, 7:07 p.m.*

*  -- if necessary

Note: If the ALCS goes seven games, then Game 6 of the NLCS will be at 3:07 p.m. on Oct. 24. If the ALCS is done by then and a Game 6 is needed in the NLCS, that game would shift to 7:07 p.m.

The World Series wills start Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the home of the AL champion.
