View: Cubs Wear Onesies On Trip Home From Los Angeles
(CBS) The Cubs were drawing plenty of attention late into Sunday night and Monday morning.
In addition to right-hander Jake Arrieta firing his first career no-hitter in a 2-0 win against the Dodgers, the team wore onesies on the long road trip home from Los Angeles. The idea was, of course, the brainchild of manager Joe Maddon, who through the years has been known to use a variety of gimmicks to keep his teams loose.
This fun was planned well in advance by Maddon, giving the team plenty of time to find some interesting pajamas. Check out some of the photos below.
