Video Shows Suspects Gun Down Teen In Riverdale

(CBS) -- It's the one witness to a teen's murder: a surveillance camera.

Riverdale police need your help, CBS 2's Brad Edwards reports.

On Sunday, 14-year-old Rashad Oliver, was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the 14300 block of South Dearborn Street. He later was pronounced dead.

Police have gathered surveillance video that shows two suspects -- one in white shoes and a winter hat – walking. Oliver passes them, walks out the camera's range. There is a brief exchange and then there is a flash of gunfire.

"We have the shooters on tape actually shooting somebody. We need to help identifying who these two people are," Riverdale Police Chief David DeMik says.

Oliver went to Roosevelt Junior High School and was in foster care. He had not been in trouble with the police department.

Anyone with information should call police at (708) 841-2203, ext. 2.
