Veterans Job Fair Coming To Soldier Field

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Veterans, their spouses and transitioning military personnel have the opportunity to meet with 85 Chicago area employers this month.

A military job fair is being held by DAV and RecruitMilitary Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Soldier Field.

According to the event organizers, those with military talent are highly in demand, as veteran unemployment is at an all-time low of just 3.8%.

Employers on-site are ready to hire for hundreds of positions.
