United Airlines flight returns to Chicago O'Hare after possible bird strike

A United Airlines flight returned to O'Hare International Airport shortly after departure Sunday, following a possible bird strike.

United flight 2481 to Syracuse, New York, landed safely upon returning, the airline said. Everyone on the plane was moved to another aircraft, which departed safely.

There were 129 passengers and five crewmembers onboard the Airbus A320 aircraft, United said.
