CHICAGO (CBS)-- Union nurses at veterans' facilities are petitioning for revised leave policies.
Emergency paid leave ended last September and since then, nurses have been using personal days.
Nurses say removing paid leave discourages them from taking time off when they are sick, putting patients at risk.
