Two Wounded--One Critically--In Kenwood Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) --Two people were wounded--one critically-- in an early Saturday shooting in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 20-year-old woman and 21-year-old man were shot about 3:10 a.m. in the 4600 block of South Ellis Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said, citing preliminary information.

She was taken to a hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the face, Greer said. The man was shot multiple times, police said. His condition was not immediately known.
