Two Teens Among Three Shot In West Side Drive-By

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three people—including two teenage boys—were shot Wednesday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

Two boys, ages 14 and 17, and a 25-year-old man were standing on a sidewalk just after 3 p.m. in the 2800 block of West Flournoy Street when a dark-colored sedan pulled up and someone inside fired shots at the group, police said.

The 14-year-old was shot in his left knee, and the 17-year-old was shot in his left leg, police said.

The 25-year-old was also wounded in the shooting, but it was not immediately clear where on his body he was shot.

All were taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
