Two Shot In Greater Grand Crossing

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were shot while driving in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side Thursday night.

The men were in a vehicle driving south in the 7400 block of South Lafayette Avenue about 10:40 p.m. when a male in a black SUV pulled up alongside and shot them both, police said.

One man, 21, suffered a graze wound to his chin, while the other man, 20, suffered a graze wound to the right side of his head, police said.

The men took themselves to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where their conditions had both stabilized, police said.
