Two Shot In Englewood

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were wounded -- one seriously -- in a shooting early Saturday in Englewood.

Both men, 21 and 39, were shot about 2 a.m. in the 500 block of West Tremont Street, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

The 21-year-old was shot in the head and was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in serious condition, Gaines said. The other man, 39, was shot in the buttocks and was in "stable" condition at Stroger, he said.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
