Two Men Charged With Fatal Shooting In Grand Boulevard

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were charged Sunday with the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood.

Terrell Monroe, 22, and Marcae Rogers, 32, were charged each with one count of first degree murder, police said.

The shooting happened Friday about 2:50 p.m. in the 300 block of East 47th Street. David Drayton, 23, was shot in the upper body and leg, police said.

Drayton, of the 6400 block of South Harvard, was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, the Cook County medical examiner's office said.

Officers located Monroe and Rogers after a concerned citizen gave them detailed information about the two, police said.

Monroe, of the 7200 block of South Eberhart and Rogers, of the 5400 block of South Damen, are both due in bond court Monday.
