Two Injured In Batavia Crash

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A person who had to be airlifted to the hospital was among two injured in a crash Sunday night in west suburban Batavia.

The two-vehicle crash happened about 7:20 p.m. near Route 31 and Fabyan Parkway, according to a statement from the Batavia Fire Department.

The driver of one vehicle was pinned in the vehicle and, once extricated, was taken to Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, fire officials said. The passenger of that vehicle was also injured and was flown by helicopter to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

The driver of the other vehicle was treated and released at the scene, fire officials said.
