Two Hurt In Rollover Crash On I-57

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Alcohol was a factor in a single-vehicle rollover crash that injured two people on Interstate 57 in south suburban Country Club Hills late Sunday, police said.

The driver lost control with one passenger in the car when it rolled over in the northbound lanes of I-57 near 175th Street about 11:45 p.m., according to Illinois State Police.

One of the people in the car was ejected, and both were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with non-life-threatening injuries, state police said. Their ages and genders weren't immediately known.

DUI charges were pending against the driver early Monday, police said.
