Two Firefighters Hurt In Northwest Side House Fire

(STMW) -- Two firefighters were injured in a house fire Sunday morning in the Forest Glen neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The fire broke out in the basement of a home in the 4100 block of West Devon about 10:30 a.m.

One firefighter suffered a hand injury and another firefighter suffered a foot injury, Chicago Fire Dept. Cmdr. Frank Velez said. Both were taken in good condition to Swedish Covenant Hospital.

No other injuries were reported, Velez said.
