Man And Woman Dead In Murder-Suicide In Bartlett

BARTLETT, Ill. (STMW) -- Police in northwest suburban Bartlett are conducting a death investigation after a man and woman were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide at their home Tuesday night.

Officers performing a well-being check about 7 p.m. in the 500 block of Horizon Drive found the woman in her living room and the man in the upstairs bathroom, according to a statement from Bartlett police.

The two have been identified as David H. Stone, 49 and Eileen P. Sulli, 55, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. Autopsies revealed Sulli died from fatal head trauma and assault, while Stone suffered multiple sharp force injuries, the medical examiner's office said. Sulli's death was ruled a homicide, and Stone's a suicide.

Bartlett police and the Major Case Assistance Team are investigating.
