UPDATED: 3:31 p.m. 5/1/16

(STMW) -- An extra-alarm fire that left two firefighters hurt Saturday night in the Southwest Side Brighton Park neighborhood was suspicious, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

Firefighters were called about 8 p.m. to the blaze at the four-story mattress warehouse near the intersection of 48th Place and Christiana Avenue, fire officials said.

It was upgraded to a second alarm about 8:30 p.m. and a third at 9:15 p.m. before being put out at 10:45 p.m.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries. One was sent to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and the other to Holy Cross Hospital, officials said.

Chicago Fire Media tweeted Sunday afternoon that the blaze was "found to be incendiary and suspicious in nature," and the investigation has been turned over to the CPD Bomb and Arson Section.
