Two Arrested In Sunday's Expressway Shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Illinois State Police announced Thursday the arrest of two suspects involved in an expressway shooting that occurred Sunday.

ISP arrested 26-year-old Norris A. Stevenson and 30-year-old Joenglish L. Lewis, both of Chicago, for aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Illinois State Police Troopers responded Sunday, Sept. 25 to a reported shooting on I-290 westbound at the ramp to Harlem Avenue at approximately 10:50 a.m. No one was injured during this incident.

The ISP conducted an investigation into the incident, leading to these two suspects.

Cook County State's Attorney's Office approved ISP's finding, charging the two suspects, each with one count of aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Stevenson and Lewis are currently being held at Cook County Jail, each with a $50,00 bond.
