Two Arrested In Reverse Prostitution Sting In Schaumburg

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two men were arrested during a reverse prostitution sting Wednesday at a hotel in northwest suburban Schaumburg.

Michael Linzing, 55, of Prospect Heights; and Fernando Fuentes, 29, of Hillside, were both charged with one misdemeanor count of solicitation of a sexual act, according to a statement from Schaumburg police. Fuentes also faces one misdemeanor count of possession of cannabis.

Both Linzing and Fuentes have been released on bond, police said.

Police collaborated with the Department of Homeland Security to conduct the undercover reverse prostitution operation at the hotel. The agencies used resources in human trafficking, intelligence gathering, surveillance and social media.

The operation was part of the Schaumburg Police Safe Hotel initiative.
