Two 'Aggressive' Suspects Rob Bank At Gunpoint In Minooka

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two suspects robbed a Heartland Bank and Trust branch at gunpoint Wednesday morning in southwest suburban Minooka.

The branch at 500 Bob Blair Rd. in Minooka was robbed at 10:30 a.m., according to the FBI.

The suspects showed a weapon, but no one was injured in the robbery, the FBI said.

"These two bank robbers acted in an aggressive manner and conducted a takeover bank robbery," said FBI spokesman Garrett Croon. "It was scary for the employees."

They are described as Hispanic males, both standing about 5-foot-9 and weighing about 180 pounds, the FBI said. One was wearing a brown jacket, khakis and a black mask, while the other was wearing an orange mask.
