Truck Hits Building In Bellwood

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A semi-tractor hit a building in Bellwood late Wednesday morning.

According to Chief Jiminez Allen with the Bellwood Police Department, the truck was making a delivery when the incident occurred.

"A semi-tractor was making a local delivery and struck a local business while maneuvering the vehicle.  No injuries and various resources were called out for precautionary measures," Allen said.

He said the scene is stabilized and will be boarded up.
