Mitchell Trubisky Helps Run Youth Football Camp In Lake Forest
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Instead of resting up before he has to report to Bourbonnais, Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is keeping busy at another one of his youth football camps in Lake Forest.
As he lives out his dream as an NFL starting quarterback, Trubisky encouraged his campers to stay true to theirs too.
"The sky is the limit," he said. "Dream as big as you possibly can and believe in that dream. Someone told me when I was at one of these camps growing up and I truly believed that. I wanted to play in the NFL someday and everything I did was working towards that, and I believed in it. So I believe in these kids and whether they want to be a pro athlete, be successful in business, or anything in life, I just tell them to believe in that, and work as hard as you possibly can. There's no dream that you can't make come true if you work hard enough."
Ella Dort, a 13-year-old camper, had the privilege of asking Trubisky a question.
"Everyone was asking him questions about football, so I wanted to change it up. I asked him what his favorite ice cream flavor was," she said.
Dort said Trubisky's favorite flavor is Haagen Dazs chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
