Trestman: Aaron Kromer Drama Has Brought Us Together

(CBS) There have been a lot of hollow words ringing out around Halas Hall lately. Bears coach Marc Trestman may have added some more Monday morning.

Trestman said the drama surrounding offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer -- who gave a tearful apology to the offense after making critical remarks about quarterback Jay Cutler to a national reporter -- has brought the Bears closer together.

"I just go by the demeanor of our football team during the week," Trestman said Monday morning in his weekly interview on WBBM Newsradio. "A lot of things that appear to be outside the building, the distractions are things that can certainly bring a team together, and our team was able to capture that this week and turn it into a very positive work week for us."
