Tornado Sightings Reported Near Macomb

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Several tornado and funnel cloud sightings were reported near the western Illinois city of Macomb Wednesday afternoon.

The sightings were all reported between 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. One was seen three miles east of Blandinsville, another a mile north of Sciota.

Illinois State Police reported another near Good Hope about 4:19 p.m., according to the weather service. Another was seen near Rock Island about 4:27 p.m.

No injuries were reported, but some grain bins were damaged and trees knocked down, according to the weather service.
