Tiger To Rory: You're Not Winning Green Jacket In '15

(CBS) Tiger Woods may be hobbled with a bad back injury, but he still exudes the confidence he's always had.

A message to Rory McIlroy proved that much.

"I'm not going to let you win a green jacket next year," Woods recently told McIlroy, according to McIlroy and as reported by GolfDigest.com.

Woods was referencing the 2015 Masters, where McIlroy will be chasing the career grand slam and looking to extend his dominance of late in majors. McIlroy won this year's British Open and PGA Championship, while Woods' game was a mess all season, in part due to injuries. Woods missed the Masters and U.S. Open, wasn't a factor at the British Open and then missed the cut at the PGA Championship.

McIlroy emphasized that Woods "wasn't joking," which is why it's easy for him to stay motivated as Woods searches for his own motivation.

"I'm not comfortable because I know (Tiger) is working his butt off to get back here and get back where he wants to be," McIlroy said, according to GolfDigest.com.
