Three Wounded In West Englewood Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three men were shot in the West Englewood neighborhood Thursday night.

The men, ages 25, 27 and 34, were involved in an argument with another male about 9:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Throop Street, when the male pulled out a gun and opened fire, police said.

Police said the men knew the person who shot them.

The 25-year-old man was shot in the abdomen, and was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. The 27-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.

The 34-year-old man was shot in the leg, and while he was en route to Christ Medical Center, he refused further medical attention, police said.

Police said all three men had gang affiliations.
