Three Wounded In Chatham Drive-By Shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three people were seriously wounded Tuesday afternoon, in a drive-by shooting in the Chatham neighborhood.

Police said the victims were standing on the sidewalk in the 8000 block of South Normal Avenue around 12:50 p.m., when a vehicle pulled up, and someone inside opened fire.

Police and fire officials said an 18-year-old man, a 56-year-old man, and a 25-year-old woman were shot. All three were taken to hospitals in serious, but stable, condition.

The 18-year-old had been shot in the left thigh, the 56-year-old had been shot in the right arm and left leg, and the 25-year-old had been shot in the left leg.
