Three Women Foiled In Attempted Christmas Eve Heist At Macy's

(CBS) -- Three women spent Christmas behind bars—charged with stealing clothes from a south suburban Macy's.

Prosecutors say 34-year-old Yue Huang; 57-year-old Caichang Li and 55-year-old Shunai Li teamed up in an attempt to steal more than $2,000 in clothing from the Macy's at Orland Square Mall.

Video surveillance caught the women trying to leave the store on Christmas Eve without paying for 45 items, according to the Chicago Tribune.

They are all charged with retail theft and being held on $25,000, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Department.
