Two boys and a girl were standing outside in the 7000 block of South Washtenaw at 12:45 p.m. when they were shot. It happened in front of Excel Southwest High School and across the street from McKay Elementary.

All three were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

A 17-year-old girl suffered a graze wound to the ankle, and a 15-year-old boy also suffered a graze wound. Both were listed in good condition.

"We are heartbroken over this senseless act of violence against three teenagers who were standing outside our school," a prepared statement from Camelot Education CEO Todd Bock said.

It's the second shooting this week near a Chicago school. Thursday, a 14-year-old sustained gunshot wounds on a basketball court near Bowen High School.
