Three Suspects Rob Bank At Gunpoint In River Forest

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three people robbed a TCF Bank branch at gunpoint Monday afternoon in west suburban River Forest.

At 3:38 p.m., the suspects entered the branch at 800 N. Harlem Ave. in River Forest and announced the bank robbery while "aggressively" pointing a black handgun at multiple employees, according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.

No one was injured in the robbery, Croon said.

One suspect is described as a 5-foot-10 black man in his early-to-mid 20s with a slender build, the FBI said. He was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, a red mask, white gloves and black pants.

Another robber is described as a black man in his early 20s, standing between 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10, with a large build, the FBI said. He was wearing a black mask, blue shirt and white gloves.

A description of the third suspect was not available.
