Three Shot On Near West Side

(STMW) -- Three males were injured in an apparent drive-by shooting Friday evening on the Near West Side.

The shooting happened about 7 p.m. in the 200 block of South Western Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco said. One of the males suffered a gunshot wound to the right foot, another was shot in the left leg while the third suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg, Pacheco added.

The males, whose ages were not immediately known, were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, one in serious-to-critical condition and the other two in fair-to-serious condition, Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford said.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
