Thousands Run In Englewood For Ditch The Weight And Guns 5k

CHICAGO (CBS) -- An estimated 3,000 runners and walkers came out for a 5k in Chicago Sunday morning that's a little different than your typical weekend race.

Ogden Park in Englewood was full of people in colorful workout clothes, some wearing Halloween costumes.

They were there on this sunny day for the Ditch the Weight and Guns 5k, organized by Andrea Natay, who oversaw the event triple in size from its debut last year.
