Thayer: Bad News For Bears -- Arizona May Be Better Than Green Bay

CHICAGO (CBS) -- As if it wasn't tough enough to open the season again Aaron Rodgers, now the Bears face a potentially more difficult opponent in the Arizona Cardinals.

"They are probably as good or better than the Green Bay Packers," WBBM Bears analyst Tom Thayer said.

"Defensively, it's one of the fastest, most confusing up front defenses I have seen."

"The concentration level of the (Bears) offense will need to be at an all-time high."

On the plus side, the Bears should be able to take advantage of the Cardinals' banged-up offensive line, Thayer said.

Unlike the more mobile Rodgers last week, "You can attack the quarterback (Carson Palmer) a bit more and that helps you get to the running back," he said.
