Freezing rain threat begins Wednesday evening in Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — A Winter Weather Advisory begins at noon Wednesday and continues through early Thursday morning.

Light snow showers begin Wednesday morning, turning to a freezing rain threat by evening and into the night.

The afternoon/evening rush Wednesday is expected to be affected as this wintry mix moves into our area. It lingers early Thursday morning creating hazardous travel on area roads.
