Teens Smash Windshields Outside Kenwood Co-Op Building

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A few car windshields were smashed Saturday night outside a high-rise cooperative housing building in Kenwood.

Neighbors said at least 30 teenagers seemingly appear out of nowhere near the Harper Square Cooperative at 4800 S. Lake Park Av.

A neighbor who asked not to be identified told WBBM she heard a commotion just after 9 p.m., and looked out her window, and saw the kids getting louder, with some running and jumping on top of cars parked on the street.

"We heard glass break, and then I'm hearing kids laughing," she said.
