Teen in critical condition after stabbing in downtown Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A teenage boy was critically injured after being stabbed Thursday night in the Loop.

Police said, just after 10 p.m., a 17-year-old boy got into a fight and was stabbed multiple times near State and Washington streets.

The teen was taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition with stab wounds to the chest and back.   

After the attack, police cordoned off the entrance to The Dearborn restaurant, around the corner at Randolph and Dearborn streets, where two knives were found on the ground outside the restaurant.

No one was in custody Friday morning. Area 3 detectives were investigating.
