17-year-old shot, killed on Chicago's Northwest Side
A 17-year-old was shot and killed on Chicago's Northwest Side early Friday morning.
Just before 2:40 a.m., Chicago police responded to the 6700 block of West Grand Avenue and found a 17-year-old boy unresponsive with gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was taken to Loyola Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time.
Area Five detectives are investigating.
