Man Shot In Face In Washington Heights

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 27-year-old man was shot in the face late Thursday in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened at 11:56 p.m. near 92nd and Laflin streets, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, Gaines said.
