Teen Shot In Englewood After Argument On CTA Bus

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 17-year-old boy was shot Monday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 9:15 p.m., the teenager was shot after he was involved in an argument with another male on a CTA bus in the 5700 block of South Racine Avenue, police said.

When he exited the bus, the teen heard shots ring out and was struck in the leg, police said.

He was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in good condition, police said.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
