Teen Shot In Englewood

CHICAGO (CBS) — A 15-year-old was shot in Englewood late Saturday night, police said.

The teen boy was walking outside in the 7000 block of South Sangamon Street at about 10:23 p.m. when he saw an unidentified person with a gun in a white Honda driving by, police said.

Shortly after, the boy heard several shots and felt pain. He was shot in the thigh and was taken to Comer Children's Hospital where he was listed in fair condition.

Nobody is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
