Teen Shot In Auburn Gresham

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot Wednesday night in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The teen was walking about 7:50 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Emerald Avenue when two suspects came out from a gangway, according to Chicago Police. One of them pulled a gun and fired shots, striking the boy twice in the right leg.

He was taken to an area hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
