Tape Shows Waveland Park Tennis Shop Hit By Burglars

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A group of burglary suspects hit a mobile tennis shop in Waveland Park, and the heist was caught on tape.

On the tape, a man took a computer keyboard and mouse, along with food and drinks from the Tennis on the Lake mobile tennis shop.

"It looked like they had been here an hour or so and dancing, having a party and crawling all up all over the trailer," Tennis on the Lake owner Peter Lutze told CBS 2's Suzanne LeMignot.

At another point during the burglary, a woman, wearing a distinctive Bob Marley t-shirt, with her hair in braids, entered with a flashlight. Soon, she's captured on another camera, catching $200 tennis rackets, thrown to her from the shop.

"They got away with at least 20 tennis rackets here," Lutze said.

Moments later, the person that appears to have thrown the rackets, a man with very long hair and a beard, misjudges jumping from the shop and clearly injures himself when he tumbles to the ground.

"It's getting to be too much. Too much. Too much for this location. Hopefully, something can be done to try to limit the crime over here," Lutze said.

About two months ago, a stray bullet was fired through the tennis shop at night, when a gunman opened fire in the area.
