SUV Driver Crashes Into South Chicago Currency Exchange During Attempted Robbery

CHICAGO (CBS)-- The driver of an SUV drove into a currency exchange during an attempted robbery in the South Chicago neighborhood.

Police said the vehicle drove directly into the building, in the 8700 block of South Commercial just after 4 a.m. A passenger then tried to go inside the building an take an item.

The passenger was unable to get the item, so he returned to the SUV and the driver fled the scene.

No arrests have been made.
