Suspect Grabs Cell Phones, Dashes From Red Line Trains: Police

(STMW) -- Chicago Police are warning residents of a recent string of thefts on Red Line CTA trains at the Wilson station in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side.

In three incidents, the suspect grabs a cellphone from a person's hand and runs off the train, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The thefts occurred early Dec. 28; about 10:45 p.m. Jan. 9; and about 11:25 p.m. Wednesday.
