Suspect Caught Using Library Card Taken In Burglary: Chicago Police

(STMW) -- A man has been charged with attempting to use a stolen library card in the Bucktown neighborhood on the North Side.

Ronald Humphery, 23, of the 700 block of North Elizabeth, was charged with one felony count of theft/deception under $500, according to a statement from Chicago Police.

He was arrested at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday after he was found to be in possession of the stolen library card at the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library, according to police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada. The library card was taken in an overnight burglary Sunday in the 1900 block of North Wood.

He was scheduled to appear in bond court Thursday, but additional details were not immediately available, Estrada said.
